I've been to Vegas twice this year and I've gotten deals on hotel rooms that were the lowest I've ever seen. I typically stay at more modest hotels, but Caesar's Palace has the 725 square foot palace studio rooms for $113/night during the week with no blackout dates. This is the cheapest I've ever seen these rooms go for. These rooms are newly furnished, twice the size of the normal rooms, and they all have a view. Like all Casinos in Vegas, they will hit you with a $40/night resort fee, but I've never seen the suites go for this cheap at Caesar's Palace. I literally just booked my trip tonight for the first week of April. Use any of these promo links above that they emailed to get the cheap rates that they don't advertise. You may have to hunt around to find a the ideal room, but any suite for less than $200/night at Caesars is freaking steal.
Caesar's has the best mall in Vegas, one of the best pools, 2 of the best clubs, it's located right next to the fountains at Bellagio, and it has the best outdoor bar on the strip.
I definitely recommend doing a spring trip in Las Vegas. March-May are my favorite months to do Las Vegas because you can hike Red Rock Canyon or do Hoover Dam and the weather is typically between 60-80 degrees every day and it literally never rains.
